JAIO Launcher & JAIO AI Engine — Privacy Policy

01Summary

JAIO Launcher is a home-screen app. The developer does not collect, receive or sell any personal data. There are no ads, no analytics and no third-party crash reporting. Everything the launcher stores (layout, settings, notes, tasks, search history, usage counts) stays on your device unless you export a backup yourself.

Every feature that uses the internet or AI is off after installation. Each one shows what it reads and where data goes, and asks for your consent before it starts. You can review or withdraw that consent at any time in Settings › Privacy & security › Privacy Dashboard.

02Data that stays on your device

Home layout, settings, theme, notes, tasks, focus-session history, charge log and app-usage counts.
Notification text, for notification dots, previews and the Comms module. It is held in memory only while the notification exists. It is never written to storage, sent anywhere or shared.
One-time codes (OTP) found in notifications. These are kept in memory for 10 minutes so you can copy them.
Your clipboard, only if you turn on Smart clipboard. The launcher reads the most recently copied text when you open the Command Line, and only if it was copied in the last 10 minutes. Text that Android marks as sensitive (such as passwords) is skipped. The text is shown on screen and is never stored or sent anywhere.
AI models you import. These are stored in the private storage of JAIO AI Engine, which has no internet permission.
Your cloud-AI API key, if you add one. It is encrypted with the Android Keystore and deleted when you withdraw consent.
Crash logs. These stay on the device and are shared only if you tap “Share diagnostic report”.

03Optional features that connect to the internet

When you turn one of these features on, your device connects directly to the service named here. The developer never receives this data.

Any service you connect to also sees your device’s IP address, as with any internet request.

04Permissions

Each permission is requested only when you turn on the feature that needs it:

Location (approximate): weather for where you are.
Contacts: contacts in search results.
Calendar: the next event in the clock and calendar modules.
Physical activity: step count for the Odometer module.
Microphone: offline voice commands, which are recognised on the device, and the music visualiser. Nothing is recorded or sent.
Notifications: reminders.
Notification access: dots, previews and the Comms module, as described in section 2. Visual alerts use only whether a new notification makes a sound, not its content.
Accessibility service: only performs the system actions you assign to gestures (lock screen, screenshot, notification shade, Quick Settings, Recents). It never reads screen content or what you type.

05JAIO AI Engine

JAIO AI Engine is a companion app that runs on-device AI models for JAIO Launcher.

It has no permissions at all, including no internet access.
It only accepts requests from apps signed with the same key as JAIO Launcher.
Text it receives is processed in memory and then discarded.

06Backups

Encrypted backups (AES-256, protected by your password) are written only to locations you choose. The developer has no access to them.

07Purchases

JAIO Launcher is free. The optional JAIO Launcher Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play. The launcher never sees your payment details: it only asks the Play Store app whether Pro is owned and what the local price is, and keeps that status on your device. Everything is unlocked for 7 days after you first install the app; this trial is counted on your device and nothing is sent anywhere.

08Children

JAIO Launcher is not directed at children under 13. Kid mode is a parental feature that limits which apps a child can open on the parent’s device. It collects no data.

09Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above is updated and the app’s release notes mention the change.

01Ringkasan

JAIO Launcher adalah aplikasi layar utama. Pengembang tidak mengumpulkan, menerima, atau menjual data pribadi apa pun. Tidak ada iklan, analitik, atau pelaporan crash pihak ketiga. Semua yang disimpan launcher (layout, pengaturan, catatan, tugas, riwayat pencarian, hitungan pemakaian) tetap di perangkat Anda, kecuali Anda sendiri mengekspor backup.

Setiap fitur yang memakai internet atau AI mati setelah dipasang. Masing-masing menjelaskan apa yang dibaca dan ke mana data pergi, lalu meminta persetujuan Anda sebelum berjalan. Persetujuan bisa ditinjau atau dicabut kapan saja di Pengaturan › Privasi & keamanan › Privacy Dashboard.

02Data yang tetap di perangkat

Layout layar utama, pengaturan, tema, catatan, tugas, riwayat sesi fokus, log pengisian daya, dan hitungan pemakaian aplikasi.
Teks notifikasi, untuk titik notifikasi, pratinjau, dan modul Comms. Teks ini hanya ada di memori selama notifikasinya ada, tidak pernah ditulis ke penyimpanan, dikirim, atau dibagikan.
Kode sekali pakai (OTP) dari notifikasi. Kode disimpan di memori selama 10 menit agar bisa Anda salin.
Clipboard, hanya bila Clipboard pintar dinyalakan. Launcher membaca teks yang terakhir disalin saat Command Line dibuka, dan hanya bila disalin dalam 10 menit terakhir. Log crash. Log tetap di perangkat dan hanya dibagikan bila Anda mengetuk “Bagikan laporan diagnostik”.

04Izin

Setiap izin hanya diminta saat Anda menyalakan fitur yang membutuhkannya:

Lokasi (perkiraan): cuaca di tempat Anda berada.
Kontak: kontak di hasil pencarian.
Kalender: acara berikutnya di modul jam dan kalender.
Aktivitas fisik: jumlah langkah untuk modul Odometer.
Mikrofon: perintah suara offline yang dikenali di perangkat, dan visualiser musik. Tidak ada yang direkam atau dikirim.
Notifikasi: pengingat.
Akses notifikasi: titik, pratinjau, dan modul Comms seperti dijelaskan di bagian 2. Peringatan visual hanya memakai informasi apakah notifikasi baru berbunyi, bukan isinya.
Layanan aksesibilitas: hanya menjalankan aksi sistem yang Anda pasang pada gestur (kunci layar, tangkapan layar, panel notifikasi, Setelan Cepat, Terbaru). Layanan ini tidak pernah membaca isi layar atau apa yang Anda ketik.

05JAIO AI Engine

JAIO AI Engine adalah aplikasi pendamping yang menjalankan model AI di perangkat untuk JAIO Launcher.

Aplikasi ini tidak memiliki izin apa pun, termasuk akses internet.
Aplikasi ini hanya menerima permintaan dari aplikasi yang ditandatangani dengan kunci yang sama dengan JAIO Launcher.
Teks yang diterima diproses di memori lalu dibuang.

06Backup

Backup terenkripsi (AES-256, dilindungi kata sandi Anda) hanya ditulis ke lokasi yang Anda pilih. Pengembang tidak punya akses ke backup tersebut.

07Pembelian

JAIO Launcher gratis. Peningkatan opsional JAIO Launcher Pro adalah pembelian sekali bayar yang seluruhnya diproses Google Play. Launcher tidak pernah melihat data pembayaran Anda: launcher hanya menanyakan ke aplikasi Play Store apakah Pro sudah dimiliki dan berapa harga lokalnya, lalu menyimpan status itu di perangkat. Semua fitur terbuka selama 7 hari sejak aplikasi pertama dipasang; masa uji coba ini dihitung di perangkat dan tidak ada yang dikirim ke mana pun.

08Anak-anak

JAIO Launcher tidak ditujukan untuk anak di bawah 13 tahun. Mode anak adalah fitur orang tua untuk membatasi aplikasi yang bisa dibuka anak di perangkat orang tua. Fitur ini tidak mengumpulkan data.

09Perubahan

Bila kebijakan ini berubah, tanggal berlaku di atas diperbarui dan catatan rilis aplikasi menyebutkan perubahannya.
